Season Summary
Cammie Albertson, a young 16 year old teenager is told by her family that her and her three best friends, Kelleigh Beake, Veva Pearce and Madilyn Foster, will be moving from Scotland to France to be ladies-in-waiting for the Queen of Scotland, Ethelyn Ray, who is about to become the Queen of France (after marrying dauphlin Harlan Edward) to hold an alliance between the two countries.
When she arrives, she finds herself deeply attracted to the King Phillip's Mistress' Son, Roger Mercier, who she doesn't know is a vampire, but soon finds herself kissing Roger's step-brother, Harlan. Shocking events leading too tears and heartbreak leave Cammie and her friends puzzled with what to do next.
